Average Costs
If you think retirement living might be right for you or your loved one, your next question likely relates to costs.
This is definitely the right question to be asking but the reality depends on several factors: Where do you live? Shat type of suite or living space do you need? How much assistance do you require day-to-day?
If you don’t know the answers to these questions right now, that’s okay, our teams are very experienced in helping residents and families make the most of their dollars.
In general rates at our communities and others like ours across Ontario, range between $2,700 – $3,200 per unit per month for a basic suite. To put this in perspective, a private room in an Ontario Long Term Care home is around $2,700 per month.
In our retirement homes care services (things like helping you get dressed, use the toilet, bathe or porter you to meals, activities, etc) are charged in addition based on monthly fees.
These can be fairly expensive, however all our property teams work closely with resource providers, namely through LHIN who can provide PSW support, equipment, and support just as if you were living in your own home.
